"My friends, who I've known since grammar school, walked with me in the Race for the Cure in Central Park in New York City on September 13th. I've been doing the race for years, but this year, I was diagnosed with breast cancer myself. It was an emotional day for all of us. "We play in a Men's fast pitch softball league in Manhattan (NYC). The league championship had gone to the same team for at least 7 straight years. Our Coppersmith's Rockets team was the first to break their streak and win the league championship. It was a total team effort with a dramatic win to knock the defending champions out in the last inning of a three game series.
