The competitions challenged cadets mentally and physically. The competition enhanced the cadet’s leadership development. In addition, it developed team cohesion, and healthy competition among the 42 battalions that competed."
"This is only part of our 52 person team for the Charlotte Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure that took place on October 3, 2009! I created a team for my mother who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Being a strong Irish and health affiliated family, the team name of "SOS- Save Our Shamrocks" was convenient. It was a great event, close to 14,000 people walking for a cure and a great way to show our support as a team dressed alike.
