Our Destination Imagination team set out to create a custom coloring book for sick children at two local hospitals. Not only did they create a great book, they also collected over 200 boxes of coloring utensils from their schoolmates in a fundraising effort. They wore their bright green and blue shirts to school, to the donation drop off at the hospital and for their competition where they won third place out of eight teams! DI is a a creative problem solving program where teams of 5-7 students solve instant and long term challenges in science,engineering, structure design, fine arts, and improv.
