"Our vacation group includes family (2 sisters (Matthews & Malobisky), our mother, husbands& their parents (MacDonald & Malobisky), 5 kids and throw in an aunt/uncle (Mary) and friend from France (Minart) friends that all happen to have last names that start with an M (not exclusive, just coincidental!). We are from Pennsylania, Florida, Tennesee and as far as Paris, France. "A much-loved family member (Bucky) died in 2010 from pancreatic cancer. 23 members of his family participated in the Purple Stride 5K in Philadelphia raising funds for PC research. "This photograph was taken in Uniontown, Pennsylvania outside of Fayette County Courthouse. It was taken directly after the adoption of the final two Hackers, the twins (#5 and #6!) I was given less than two weeks to prepare for this court hearing, and Custom Ink did an amazing job customizing our "team" shirts and rushing them to us in time for adoption day. I love this picture because it symbolizes a "pep talk" and the family nature of our "team" - I'm a single mother who has adopted six amazing children. We meet life's day-to-day challenges as a team, despite the fact that we've all come from different backgrounds. "This photo was taken at the end of the Walk on October 28 2012 at the Art Museum in Philadelphia PA the same day SANDY came but, we all showed up for my grand-daughter Caraline who is 8 years old and was diagnosed last year with diabetes. We really do have a wonderful family and friends, and even though the storm was coming everyone showed up and brought sugar free snacks and all the little babies. "
"22 friends of Jessica walked or ran the Women's 5K Classic on Saturday, October 13, 2012. It is one of the largest Breast Cancer Awareness and organized women's only events in the country. This was the 20th Anniversary of the event in Allentown, PA. Over 5300 women came out to show their support for all the women fighting, surviving or cured with Breast Cancer. It is a wonderful experience for women of all ages as this disease can affect anyone. And thanks to Custom Ink we were able to WEAR our support of our friends who is conquering the disease with grace! We all wear it proudly in her honor!"
