ALS Express Bike Ride-- Phelan's Phighters by Karolina - about 1 year ago
"This is a photo of our team--Phelan's Phighters (about 25 riders) taken on June 15, 2013 in Wildwood, NJ. We were taking part in ALS Express Bike ride for research. My husband, Tom, was diagnosed with ALS in January of 2013, and we gathered a team to ride for him. Some of us rode 25 miles, and some rode 10 miles. We collected over $11,000 for the ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter, and the money will go to research to find a cure for ALS. It was a very emotional and tiring day for all, but we are already talking about next year. We want to be even bigger! Thanks CustomInk for making our team T-shirts. We chose bright orange color, and we were all very visible to the cars on the road and to each other! CustomInk made designing our team T-shirts very easy, and every member of our team loved them! We did not take them off after the ride, but kept them on all day!!!"
Swimming 2 miles open water with Olympian Swimmers to fight cancer! by Team Cancer Can Stick It - about 1 year ago
"TEAM CANCER CAN STICK IT! Greg and Karma Travis may have started this team with a push from Daniel Watters, but 2013 will mark the 3rd year for this group to support Swim Across America as a true team fighting cancer. Last year, we raised almost $8300! Our special guest, April Samuels, shared her cancer story from the inaugural Dallas Swim AND performed again as a drummer in the band after the event! She credits the Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Hospital as “saving her lifeâ€! Team Cancer Can Stick It gets its name from April’s slogan she created from her musical career as a drummer, and current drummer for the '80's band Metal Shop. We are welcoming back swimmers Dr. Punita Shah, pediatrician in Richardson and Plano Wetcat; Greg’s cousin, Kyle Hein and his 13-year-old son, Ian Hein, who swims for Rockwall Aquatics; Robert Bevans, another Plano East Swim Team Alumni; and our newest member Scott Kerr, a recent cancer survivor. April will be our land volunteer this year and we are so excited that our team is growing! All team members are swimming for a common goal: to protest cancer in spite of our loved ones battling it. This year some of us are swimming for Ken Hein, Kyle’s father, who battled breast cancer last year and Julie Carlock, of Fairview, Texas, who also overcame surgeries and chemo treatments from breast cancer last year. All of the Team Cancer Can Stick It swimmers compete in the Dallas event in 2 miles of open water as our test to challenge ourselves to keep goals in our lives. Thank you for your support and just keep swimming! "
AAA @ MuckFest MS by Angela's Amazing Angels - about 1 year ago
"Our team Angela's Amazing Angels entered in the 2013 MuckFest MS in New Jersey for Saturday June 15th. Helping to raise money for the National MS Society. Muck Fest MS is the nations best mud and obstacle fun-run. CustomInk did great and also donated to a great cause to help people like my mother who are fighting MS. We will be doing this again next year and hope to work with CustomInk again. "
Phat Hal's Phamily at the 2013 MMRF Race for the Cure by Arnie Baum - about 1 year ago
"We've been participating in this charity event for 10 years. Most years, only a few people have walked. Last year, we had over a dozen, so we decided to have shirts made. This year, we had 22, plus a 2-year old who had her own specially customized Phat Hal shirt. The shirts were terrific; we were informally voted the team with the best shirts at the event. As you can see, a few in our group opted not to get shirts. Once they saw them, they realized their mistake and will be ordering some for next year. Thanks, Customink, for the great product, the design help and the great service!"
Relay for Life! by Beth - about 1 year ago
"Relay for Life - American Cancer Society. June 14 - 15, 2013, Palatine IL. This picture is 4 members of our team: Ready, Set, Fight! We relay for those we lost to cancer and those who are fighting, and those who have won the battle. We started the team in honor of Kendall's (second from the left) mom who lost her fight to breast cancer and my mom who lost her fight many years ago to ovarian cancer (Baily's - far right - grandma). These girls worked hard raising money for the American Cancer Society. This is the 3rd year we have used CustomInk to create our team shirts, and by far their most favorite shirt! It is always a pleasure to work with CustomInk - they are very helpful and provide top notch service!"
Paddle for Pink 2013 by Fifty Shades Pinker Cougar Crew - about 1 year ago
"This picture was taken at the 2013 Paddle for Pink at Mercer Country Park in New Jersey on June 8, 2013. This is an event for people to come together and have some fun on the water for a good cause. The Paddle for Pink is a Dragon Boat race where teams of 20 people compete in rowing contests in categories from community open women, to mixed teams, and club teams. Everyone has a great time for a great cause and all proceeds go to breast cancer awareness. This is the second year in a row I have used CustomInk for my t-shirts and both years people have raved that our shirts are the BEST! So even if we didn't win, we were the best looking team out there!! CustomInk is awesome and they really work with you to make sure your order is top notch and ready in time. I would highly recommend CustomInk for all custom t-shirt and apparel needs! Maureen Ruckelshaus"
Buffalo Dance Center at Relay for Life by Stacey Wawrzyniec - Buffalo Dance Center - about 1 year ago
"This is a photo of some of our dancers performing at American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event on Friday, June 14th in Elma, NY. This event is one of the organization's largest fundraisers and our studio was proud to help support the cause! This was our first experience with CustomInk and we were thrilled with our shirts. The quality and printing was fantastic, plus we received excellent customer service. Our shirts came in on time for our event and were exactly what we had hoped for in terms of color and fit! We will definitely use CustomInk in the future!"
"This was for the national kidney walk and Tram Cus is our name in honor of a little man named Custer who is 18 months old and in need of a kidney transplant. He was born with only one kidney. He gets peritoneal dialysis every night until eligible for a transplant. "
