"16 of the Class's 22 Grads where present at our Class's 50th
reunion Party; 6 of our class have past. The Party was held
Friday the 15th of July, 2011 at the Holiday Inn Rapid City, SD.
Rapid City is 75 Miles North of Igloo. The party was held there
because the former Black Hills Army Depot closed in 1967, the
school and town was torn down leaving only the Igloo's still standing.
An all school reunion is held in Rapid City each Third Saturday of July
since then. This was our 50th, and the shirts were the hit of the reunion.

"On April 13, 2007 we held our 3rd annual West Middle School (Rapid City, SD) 5K Fun Run. Our event honors the memory of student Chris Evans who was tragically killed in an accident 2 years ago. This family-oriented PTA sponsored event designates all proceeds to building the Chris Evans Memorial Soccer Field on the school grounds."

"Rapid City Central boys soccer team worked and played with campers at our first annual Cobbler/Raider soccer camp fundraiser."

"The 2 public high school soccer programs in Rapid City joined together to put on a soccer camp for kids as a fundraiser. The kids loved the t-shirts they got with their camp registration. We listed all the home games on the back of the shirts and invited the kids to come watch their favorite players and cheer them on during the season."
