"Pet the Shark, our relay team of six swimmers, competed in the Swim Across the Sound on August 2, 2008. The Swim is a 17-mile open-water race, following the ferry route from Port Jefferson, NY to Bridgeport, CT, and is the premier fundraising event for the St. Vincent's Foundation. The Swim helps to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for support and services for cancer patients. This photo was taken at about 5:15am in the parking lot of Captain's Cove in Bridgeport, CT. We were proud to display our ultra-cool Pet The Shark t-shirts from Custom Ink!
