"Dad/Grandpa is turning 90 and it was about time for a family reunion in our hometown park. Each of Dad's 6 children and their family is in it's own color ... 69 of the 71 were able to attend. The back of the shirts list everyone's name in the order we entered the family. "What's your number?" became the question of the day! We came from all over the US and even China. Lots of memories made!"
"We started an 8th grade prayer group at our school to reach more people for Christ and become stronger Christians. In the photo we arre at the Alabama Baptist Childrens Home. "We participated in the CCFA sponsored walkathon in Orange County (on the UCI campus), CA to fundraise for Crohn's Disease. Our daughter, Michelle, age 19, has suffered from Crohn's for 12 years now and we wanted to support the the CCFA in their quest to raise funds for research and education. "This is the 4th year our family and friends have participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event in Easton, Pennsylvania. This year's event was held on June 13th-14th at the athletic complex of Lafayette College. We participate in loving memory of my aunt, Eve Young, who left us in August of 2006, along with our supporting of the cause in general because many on our annually growing team have been affected one way or another by cancer. Our picture reflects only a small group of our immediate family, which is a mere fraction of the wonderful individuals and families who continue to join us every year to be one of the top fundraising teams at the event. This is my 4th year creating and ordering custom t-shirts for our team, Bee-L-Eve. In the past we've used local screen printers which has been serviceable and worked well. I wanted to give CustomInk a try this year after using the site to help friends order shirts for a separate purpose. Our experience with CustomInk for the large order of team shirts we made was excellent, and I see us continuing our relationship with them for years to come. "When our son was accepted into the Univ. of Arizona's College of Pharmacy 4 years ago, we started planning this trip to Hawaii as a reward for all his hard work. (We never had a doubt of his success!). Our daughter and her family came, as did my two sisters from Kansas. The baby hadn't even been thought of when we started planning, but she was a welcome addition to our group! We drew some looks as we walked through several large airports, but made it so easy to keep track of each other, especially the little ones! We love our shirts! "Our State Championships Robotics Tournament required us to submit a team photo. Our intent was to illustrate the teamwork that helped get us to the Championships. Here, our Li'l Nerds (4th and 5th grade) are pantomiming an assembly line, moving LEGO pieces through production until they reach the end, in the form of a fully-built robot. Greater artistic failure has never been known. Oh well. We had fun."
