"The Swedish School of Indianapolis was founded in the beginning of 2008 by Swedish speaking parents in and around the Indianapolis area. We meet every Sunday afternoon for lessons at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Carmel. When the children meet we make a point of speaking Swedish, sing songs and talk about traditions to preserve the culture that many of the parents have grown up with. In May each year we have an open house so that new Swedish/ American families with perhaps younger not yet school age children can come and visit and see what we are up to. For this year we thought it would be wonderful if we had t-shirts made for all the children as an extra reward. The T-shirts turned out great as you can see and everybody loved them!
