Crossing the finish line in the SF Avon Walk for Breast Cancer by Team 4ever - 11 months ago
"This is a photo of my team, Team 4ever, crossing the finish line in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in San Francisco this past weekend (9/28 and 9/29) having walked 39.5 miles over two days. Our team was the #2 fundraising team in the SF Walk, raising over $67,000 to support breast cancer treatment for the underserved and research into the causes of breast cancer and disease progression in the case of breast cancer. I'm 49 and an 11 year breast cancer survivor. 32 months ago I was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and I'm doing what I can to raise awareness (and hopefully increased funding) of metastatic breast cancer. So many people along the walk commented on our great shirts! I think we had the best looking and wearing shirts in the walk. The hot pink logo boldly placed on the back and front of this high performance t-shirt broke through the crowds of thousands. Working with customink was a complete pleasure. I loved being able to walk through the buying process with your well trained and compassionate sales folks. I can't wait to order my shirts from customink for next year's walk. If you go to the official Avon Walk site 2013 photos of the SF Walk you will see a photo on page 3 of one of my team member's back giving a celebration hug. Customink's printing over our Team 4ever logo looks fantastic!"

"Team Barbarians gathered together for the 2013 San Francisco Alzheimer's Walk on September 21st. We walked in honor of Barbara Ng who passed away from Alzheimer's this past July at the young age of 64. Working with CustomInk was great! The website was easy to use and the shipping was quick!"
Mark McSpadden presents at the 2013 Tech Crunch Disrupt SF Hackathon for the SabreLabs team. by Mark for SabreLabs - 12 months ago
"We printed shirts for both SabreLabs and Airphrame, as our hack at the 2013 Tech Crunch Disrupt SF Hackathon was a collaboration between the two teams. The shirt graphics included gradients, and we relied on the artists at Custom Ink to figure out the best way to handle that. We had the shirts rush delivered to the hotel, and they arrived in perfect time. The shirts looked great, especially on stage. The extra shirts even served as blankets at 3 am in the morning! It was a really good deal for both teams. Thank you Custom Ink for your hard work! "
MrazWomen take San Francisco by MrazWomen take San Francisco - 12 months ago
"I started MrazWomen, a group of gals who became friends online because of our love for Jason Mraz. We've been seeing some of his shows together for almost 3 years now, and this year I decided to have CustomInk print our shirts. It turned out awesome...everybody loves them, even the people we made shirts for, like Mona Tavakoli (Jason's percussionist) and Philly Brentnall (Jason's fan liaison). We sent one to Jason too...I'm sure he loved it as well! So the gals who were scheduled to come see Jason's San Francisco show last September 1 at America's Cup Pavillion went to the venue early and all wore our MrazWomen shirts, and through them we immediately were able to establish rapport with the staff and security of the venue, who told each other, "Hey, as long as someone has that tee on, it's understood that they're in front of the line!" The photograph was taken while the MrazWomen were in line, a full 7 hours before the doors opened for the concert. We were obviously very excited (that's me up front) and very happy to be there and be in each other's company (check out the photobombers at the back...they're happy to be included, too!). Remember that we first started out as friends online and that only a few gals from the group ever make it to official meetups every year. My experience working with CustomInk was exceptional. In the past I've had trouble getting my designs for my group printed through other services (because it has Jason's name on it), but the CustomInk reps I was in contact with recognized our fandom. I was more than happy to get appropriate permission to use his name in our shirts, but after an email or two a CustomInk rep got back to me and told me everything was a-OK on their end and that my design was good as is. Besides that, I generally felt like I was an important customer. I was confident that whatever question or issue I may have about my order, there was always someone available to get back to me with an answer. I am DEFINITELY using CustomInk's services again for next year's t-shirt! :-)"
