Our group put on a benefit auction and activity night for Tyler Easton, a 20 year old from our hometown, to help with medical bills as a result of his bone cancer and leg-amputation surgery. Tyler is a very inspiring young man. After his diagnosis and surgery, he told his family and friends not to worry about him because "tomorrow is another day!" Our tiny community of 1,000 residents raised over $50,000 for Tyler and his family because, in our town, we are all family. The benefit took place on March 21, 2009 in Wessington Springs, South Dakota."
