Team I Love Laurie by Anna - almost 4 years ago

Team I Love Laurie T-Shirt Photo

"This photo was taken after the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in Temecula Ca. on October 17, 2010. Every year we do the walk in honor of Laurie, a 17 year Breast Cancer survivor. This year it was particularly important to show our support because the cancer is back and now more than ever she needs our support! This year, we decided to show our love and support by ordering a custom shirt. We knew we wanted something special to show just how much Laurie ment to us, and customink had the answer. My aunt, Laurie, loves angels, and since she is our family's angel we decided to put an angel's wing on her name. She is such an inspiration to so many people around her. She has a great spirit, her smile and laugh can brighten your day. I am so grateful that she is my aunt and that we were able to spend this special day with her! "

Team Miles For Mindy At The Dc Komen 3 Day For The Cure T-Shirt Photo

"Team Miles for Mindy raised more than $30,000 for the Washington, DC 3-Day Komen for the Cure to put an end to the breast cancer beast. We were the highest fundraising team per capita of the approximately 2000 participants. We walked all 60 miles in loving memory of our beautiful mom Melinda Hampton who passed away on May 13, 2010 after a 14-year battle with breast cancer. Please vote for our picture! We'll use the Custom Ink cash to get our shirts for next year's walk when we hope to raise just as much! We highly recommend CustomInk for your event t-shirts. Their service was prompt, the shirts turned out wonderfully and they even made a donation to our fundraising account! Visit our website www.milesformindy.com to read more about our mom. She was a pretty wonderful lady. We miss her every day. "

For most of the group it was their first time walking and it was a hard 60 miles. The weather was awesome but the hills were brutal. All for a great cause. We raised 5.3 million dollars!! GO PINK!!"

"On Saturday September 25, 2010. My family, friends and myself partipated in the Susan G Komen, Race for the Cure walk. This past year I have became an active advocate for Breast Cancer Awarness. In January of this year my Mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, went through 2 lumpectomies, and 6 treatments of chemo. That Thursday before the walk, we found out results from her last partial masectomy that she was clear of the tumor and cancer. She still have to do 6 weeks of radiation to be safe, but this walk was definitely a celebration for us all! Our shirts were a huge hit thanks to customink.com!"

"This photograph was taken bright and early this past Sunday morning, just before a group of graduate students headed to the Susan G. Not only did Brooke and Eugene patiently listen to what I wanted for the shirt, recommend various t-shirt styles, colors, and ways to potentially save on the total cost of the shirts, but they also got these shirts to us very quickly!
