Cancer Isn't Free by Team SAMFund's first runner - Alumni Leader Kyle - 3 months ago
"This picture was taken right after Kyle finished a full marathon in Nashville, TN, just a few weeks ago. He is triumphant, grateful and probably super exhausted... but there is so much more behind his smile. Kyle is a young adult cancer survivor. He finished treatment almost exactly four years ago and decided to celebrate his upcoming “cancer-versary” by training for and running in his first marathon. If that wasn’t meaningful enough, he used it as an opportunity to raise funds for other young adult cancer survivors who are struggling the way he was. In his words, "Cancer is a devastating disease to everyone it touches, but it is particularly difficult on young adults. Transitioning into your 20s and 30s is difficult; the job market is tough, real estate is expensive and the cost of tuition is at an all time high. Now imagine that you have just finished cancer treatment. You have lost valuable time and limited savings. You feel like you are years behind everyone else in your age group. To top it off, you are suddenly faced with unexpected expenses from residual and new medical bills from follow-up tests and check-ups. When all of these issues collide, how do you find a job, pay for rent and afford school? While there is no magic bullet to solve the financial challenges of young adult cancer survivors, The SAMFund is the only organization in the country dedicated to helping young adults recover from the financial blow of cancer. The SAMFund’s hallmark program provides direct financial assistance to young adult survivors that help pay medical bills, subsidize rent and support family planning activities among other needs." In running this marathon and through his fundraising efforts, Kyle launched "Team SAMFund," which will hopefully become a key fundraising and awareness-raising program for The SAMFund. We had ordered shirts for him through another company, and the long story short is that a few days before Kyle was set to leave Boston for Nashville, the shirts still hadn’t arrived and no one would return our calls. In a panic, we called CustomInk to see if “super rush shipping” really meant *super rush* shipping, and not only was the representative helpful and friendly, she had the shirts in Kyle’s hands two days later. Needless to say, the shirts looked fantastic and everyone who saw Kyle run knew that he was a proud member of “Team SAMFund.” Thank you, CustomInk, for saving the day and for giving “Team SAMFund” its proper launch. So many young adult survivors will benefit from his efforts and, even more importantly, can draw inspiration from his story. #cancerisn’tfree… but The SAMFund is here to help! "
5 Boro Bike Tour - Team We Love Dessert by SLE3723 - 3 months ago
"The 5 Boro Bike Tour is a 42 mile ride through all five boros in New York City with over 30,000 bikers. This year we had six people riding in our group. We were Team We Love Dessert, and I think our shirts reflected out message! We all had so many compliments. Working with CustomInk was awesome! They let you have creative range and a large variety options. We LOVED the final project, and others did too!"

Team PARS ROC Race - 80s Theme by Team PARS ROC Race - 80s Theme - 3 months ago
"Our company, PARS generously pays for our (employees) entry fees and t-shirts for a fun, local race each year. My part is to organize and coordinate 25-35 employees, family, and friends that wish to participate. I've been spearheading these races for the last three years. The races encourage employees to get in shape and get involved with charitable events outside of work and themselves. This year's race was the ROC (Ridiculous Obstacle Course) Race (think: Wipeout) located at Great Park in Irvine on Saturday, May 3, 2014. The race proceeds go to the charity, Challenged Athletes Foundation (super awesome foundation especially given that we have quite a few high-level athletes at our company and some ex-NCAA athletes too). Our theme this year was based on the 80's. (best. decade. ever.) Anyway, the ladies cut the t-shirts 'Flash Dance' style and added very cliche' 80's accessories. We all had a BLAST!!! The best part was that I didn't have to stress out about the t-shirts especially since I had other things to worry about (ie; getting 30 people registered, getting their t-shirt sizes, getting them important race day information, making sure everyone shows up...on time...in the exact same place, coordinating the t-shirt design contest, etc.) The shirts came in on time and looked amazing. You made our day super RAD! Thanks again Customink! We will continue to use you for all our t-shirt needs."
Number 1! by coachmartha - 3 months ago
"This is a picture of me with two triathletes that I coach. We are posing after a half ironman even in New Jersey with my new Team tech shirts made by customlink. I was so pleased with the ease of the design and the clarity of instructions on the website as far as how to place an order and determine the price of the order. The size chart was also super helpful in determining the breakdown of the order in sizes. Great experience. Great shirts! Happy Team!"
Team Avery Ruth by Team Avery Ruth - 3 months ago
"This picture is our 2014 Team Avery Ruth March for Babies Spokane team. The event was held April 26th in Spokane. Each year we put together a team to raise money and awareness for healthy babies. Team Avery Ruth was established in 2011 after our daughter Avery was born at 27 weeks weighing 1lb 2 oz. Thanks to research done by the March of Dimes, she is a happy and healthy 2 year old! This was my first experience using Custom Ink for our team shirts and by far the best, easiest, and nicest looking shirts we have had! The turn around time was fast which allowed me to wait longer to ensure every member of the team had a shirt. I am truly amazed how wonderful my experience was working with this company and look forward to using them again and sharing my experience with others!"
March for Babies 2014 by Team Kindness for Colton - 3 months ago
"Had a fantastic first experience with Customink, it couldn't have been easier to upload our artwork and order our team shirts for our teams first March for Babies walk in St. Louis, in honor of my nephew Colton. He died just shy of his first birthday and spent his first 6 months in the NICU. But in his short time he touched so many with his story, his strength, his love and after his passing his family asked for those touched by him to continue his name by doing random acts of kindness. Hence the name of our team. We raised over $4000 for March for Babies, so with that money Colton can continue to touch and change lives as he did to those that got to meet him."
Team Ellis Rose for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by Hope for Ellis Rose - 3 months ago
"Team Ellis Rose walks at the Great Strides event raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to find 3 year old Ellis Rose a cure. This photo is a portion of our team at the University of Arizona walk this April. Every year, our team creates a new shirt using CustomInk. It is a great way to be creative with our design and raise awareness for Ellis and 30,000 others with cystic fibrosis! This year, we chose an anchor design because "hope anchors the soul"."
