"Students in g2 program at West Middle School studied the epidemic of Type 2 diabetes and teams created t-shirt designs. The winning design was chosen by all of the students and sold, with proceeds going to the American Diabetes Association."

"On April 13, 2007 we held our 3rd annual West Middle School (Rapid City, SD) 5K Fun Run. Our event honors the memory of student Chris Evans who was tragically killed in an accident 2 years ago. This family-oriented PTA sponsored event designates all proceeds to building the Chris Evans Memorial Soccer Field on the school grounds."
