"When we learned that one of our classmates is battling cancer, we sold Team Cheryl t-shirts and held various fundraisers to help defray the costs of her medical bills. This particular night, the fundraiser took place at the home of two fellow Elyria High School graduates. We shared drinks, listened to music from the early 70s, told stories on one other, and made individual pizzas which we baked in the wood-burning fireplace inside the kitchen of our host and hostess. We raised nearly $500.00 for our grateful classmate, Cheryl Pogan. "
