"May 13-14 my teenage daughters captained a team that participated in the event Relay For Life for the American Cancer Society. All their team members are a part of their Nationals Volleyball team. The event was the culmination of months of fundraising and preparation. The event not only raised money for cancer patients for rides to treatment, wigs, social services, lodging at the Hope Lodge, cancer research, but it raises awareness for preventative services and early detection of cancers. As a mom (and chaperone of the event) could not be prouder of the hard work All the teams put in to make the event so special and memorable.
