The Big Chill Race '09

"The Rutgers University Division of Administration & Public Safety in New Jersey has a group of staff members that enjoy participating in local charity runs throughout the year. The Big Chill event is an annual race held by Rutgers to support less fortunate children during the holidays. In lieu of a monetary registration fee, this unique charitable event asks participants to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child between the ages of 3 and 14. On Saturday, December 12, 2009 nearly 5,200 people ran in the event. The following Monday, December 14th, faculty, staff and students volunteered to sort all the toys into age groups and wrap them up to be distributed to the Salvation Army, Red Cross and other local charities for the holiday season. The event is amazing and we are honored to participate in it every year. CustomInk helped our team minimize the out of pocket cost for our runners by offering wicking tees that could be used over and over at different events. They got our rush order to us in plenty of time to show our team spirit and they looked awesome! Thanks CustomInk and if anyone from New Jersey reads this post, please join us for the Big Chill next December!" - http://aps.rutgers.edu - Rutgers_APS (Dec 15, 2009)
