"We are at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Networks "PurpleStride Cleveland 2013", a 5K run & 1.5 mile family walk to help raise funds and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer. It was a wonderful, sunny day on the shores of Lake Erie at Voinovich Park on June 1st! It was an amazing time and a day that we will never forget. On February 6th, 2013, we lost the backbone to our family (our PopPop) to pancreatic cancer and 36 years prior to that we lost our Grandma Corabelle (PopPops mother) to the same horrible disease. Before he even passed, we had planned on doing this walk for him, hoping he could be there with us. When he passes, it became my mission to make this the best fundraiser we could.
And there was never a doubt where to get our shirts from for this walk...CustomInk! I had seen commercials but never ordered before but after I checked prices at local stores to compare, they wanted to charge (at least) $5 more per shirt! And after I ordered, I found out how quick and convenient it was, I am already planning our shirts for next year. Thank you for being a wonderful company who cares about charities and people!
