"The Emory Astronomy Club frequently hosts events like planetarium shows, trivia contests, movie nights, and overnight trips to share our love for stargazing. Our new shirts are walking publicity around campus for our events. And since they have our observatory's coordinates on them, we can never get lost when we're wearing them!" - AstroClub (Feb 02, 2010)

"Let me see what Spring feels like on Jupiter and Mars..." Can you do that for me?

Of course we can! In the club we know all about axial tilt, elliptical orbits, and wind patterns on other planets that affect what the seasons feel like throughout the solar system. (Martian spring won't have any blooming flowers or chirping birds, but instead plumes of carbon dioxide gas vaporizing from its ice caps!) Anyone up for a planetarium show on the vernal and autumnal equinoxes? Or maybe next year's shirt could be equinox themed?
