I have, over the years, had tremendous success with CustomInk, typically throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, this is the first experience that I have had that feel short of expectations. The online customer service started out fantastic - the representative was very helpful in helping me locate a specific shirt style/color I was looking for. They also helped me out configuring my order (I had 13 shirts of 1 design, and 1 shirt with a separate design). It fell apart after I placed the order. Several things went awry. First, which may have been my fault, but I was completely unaware of the fact that ordering a single shirt means you do not get a proof of the design. Not sure if this was my lack of reading the fine print, or if I was supposed to get a proof and never did. There was no follow-up communication about the order.. it simply showed up at my doorstep (two weeks later). Second, the bulk order definitely made me a bit nervous. My order was time sensitive, and I had allowed enough time with some extra to get the shirts in. After placing the order, however, it took over a week to simply get the proof. The order was guaranteed to arrive at my doorstep within 2 weeks, so you can see why I was a little frustrated. This was after I had pestered them on three separate occasions about an update to my order too - each time saying they would send a proof the next day.. which didn't happen the first two times I reached out to them. I did finally get a proof, and the shirts did arrive on the expected day with great surprise. I wish the communication was better as why the order was being held up. The print quality itself looked great. I had designed a relatively intricate shirt, and they pulled it off quite well. Only a few small areas the ink filled in some details. The bulk order shirts were good, not great, but good. I thought they might be slightly thicker given that they were "premium." They are every so slightly translucent, but not a critical problem. I was hoping it would be opaque, solid, and a little more durable. Overall a good company, just with a small hiccup here and there.

This was probably the best customer service experience I've ever had! Vicki Nobili was phenomenal - friendly, very knowledgeable about the product, gave thoughtful suggestions and followed up with me after I made the order and when it shipped. The whole experience was absolutely perfect and could not have asked for anything better. And the t-shirts will be a huge hit for our family vacation!!

This was my first time using Custom Ink for my business. Everything was going great, until we received the shirts and noticed that our brand mark on the front had been printed slightly crooked - on EVERY shirt. To the point where a couple people have already asked about it. We're using these shirts for a show this weekend and I've gotta say I'm REALLY disappointed. I was a little surprised by how different the orange looked from what I was seeing on screen - but I can get past that. And the American Apparel shirt also ran very small - which you warned about but I'm still surprised how much smaller. Also, the graphics placement on the back seemed to get higher on the shirt as larger size shirts were used - on my XXL the design is too high up to the top as a percentage of the entire back. But even those two items I can get past - but the crooked brand mark....that really sucks. Otherwise, customer service was great, online experience was pretty darn good and you got the shirts here faster than you said you would -all great. I'd just like someone to make the brand mark problem right.
