Though I've always been content with the end results / final product, I have been utterly frustrated and upset with the overall process I have to endure to get from start to finish. Not only have I had a second order / same bad experience with (simply put) having my uploaded image print as closely as possible on a shirt of my selection, but I also underwent the exact same challenges. My experiences with customer service has always been above and beyond. My frustrations and problems are always directed towards the art team and the lack of attention to details. For example, I request a simple change, and in return, I receive sample shirts / images with the correction along with different problems that weren't originally there. This happens 3-4+ times going back and forth. My original / previous order took 4-5 weeks going back and forth between the QA team and the art team to print out my uploaded image as close as possible to the original. I won't get into the details, but let's just say that I was on the phone with Custom Ink several times a week (4-5 weeks on my first order and 2-3 weeks on my recent second order) continuing to address problems that were originated by their art team. I don't know if this is all due to the lack of information being communicated between the customer service / QA team to the art team, or if they just don't care about the changes they're making, but the time it takes for them to get it right is unacceptable, as I just don't have the time to continue to babysit with bad work and zero attention to details. Not only did I experience this with my first order, but my second order as well. This time, it only took 2-3 weeks instead of 4-5 to get it right. And because of this last frustrating experience, I will no longer conduct business with Custom Ink again and would prefer to work with a local company. If anything, I hope that my comments will provide additional insight to the right management teams in hopes of correcting this problem moving forward. And to imagine if I'm one customer who's experiencing this, how many others are also dealing with this as well. Time / Details = $$ and by my experiences, the company is definitely losing money. All items were correct in size as per what was ordered, the only issue being unisex smalls are larger than the 'juniors' aka women's fitted style mediums, and this led to some confusion when passing out. That however is not on Custom Ink but the fashion patriarchy that thinks women are tiny and secondary. DOWN WITH THE SHIRT PATRIARCHY!
I loved the ease of design process, gathering orders through the website. The selection of garments was impressive. Seeing my logo in print on these shirts makes my heart happy. My only regret is choosing the wrong sizes for some of the shirts.
