2025 Moose Loop Trail Challenge

Anchorage is a trails town. Our four main multi-use trails are all linked together to form a loop around the city called the Moose Loop. The Anchorage Park Foundation advocates for infrastructure improvements that close the gaps in the route’s connections, improve wayfinding, increase access from neighborhoods, and encourage tourism.

The 2025 Moose Loop Trail Challenge is a community challenge to walk, run, or bike the amazing Anchorage trails that loop around the city before the snow flies. This family-friendly event is a fundraiser for the Anchorage Park Foundation, a nonprofit working to improve parks and trails. The challenge takes place August 23 to August 30 and is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Take the challenge!
