4 Paws For Hudson Tolbert

Hudson is a 3 year old boy from Cayuga, Indiana. He has been having seizures since he was born. Despite many tests, and several surgeries, we still do not have an official diagnosis for Hudson.

He is currently taking 4 different seizure medications, and still has breakthrough seizures almost daily.

Our fear is, as he grows, he will be limited in what he can do as he needs to be watched so closely.

He has been accepted for a service dog through 4 Paws for Ability in Xenia, Ohio. We must first raise the funds for the dog, then he can be placed in a class and matched with a seizure response dog! Wait time is an average of 2 years for training. We hope that a dog can provide Hudson with more freedom and provide us, his parents, with some peace of mind. The dog will be trained specifically for Hudson and his needs. There's even a possibility the dog could alert us before a seizure occurs.

We are grateful to have found this program for Hudson and also grateful to our family, friends, and community for the support they continue to provide to us.
