100% of the profits will go to the family to help with expenses.
This fundraiser is in support of an Argyle family that had a medical emergency. Kate Villanueva is an 8th grade student at AMS and on the high school marching band/color guard. For the past few weeks she has been having debilitating headaches that resulted in many visits to the doctor. The family received the results on Monday that Kate had a brain tumor and fluid on the brain. On Tuesday, January 29th, Kate had surgery to relieve the fluid that was causing pressure on her brain. The doctors are in the process of evaluating any future treatments.
Kate's mom, Gloria Arredondo, works in the AISD Transportation Dept. The family also includes her dad, and three siblings; Rodrigo (AHS), Rebecka (Hilltop) and Belinda (preschool age).
We'd love to show this family how we come together as a community and support them in any way that we can. #4KATE
