Riding for Freedom: A Double Amputee’s 4,500-Mile Journey for Disability Awareness
In January 2025, after losing both legs to infection—his right in 2019 and his left in 2023—[Name] decided to turn tragedy into purpose. What began as a small idea for a local ride quickly grew into a powerful 4,500-mile journey through the original 13 colonies, all on an unmodified motorcycle. Starting July 10, this ride for disability awareness will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the “Shot Heard 'Round the World”, a pivotal moment in the American fight for freedom. Just as the Patriots once stood for liberty, people with disabilities today are standing for freedom, equality, and accessibility.
This ride is more than a personal challenge—it’s a movement. It will be documented through film and shared across social media platforms, bringing visibility to the everyday struggles and triumphs of the disability community.
Every dollar raised goes directly toward making this journey possible. No one on the team is being paid—this is 100% volunteer-driven.
