About this campaign

Crackhorse Films is a truly indie production company trying to do the impossible: shoot a sci-fi epic film with amazing visuals, battles, story & characters. To make that happen we need development money to fund our art department. Help us design our film's world.

If we reach all 1,000 shirts sold we will earn $12,550.

Please contact the organizer with any questions. Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

My name is Sean Williams, and I have been a fan of comic books, science fiction and genre films for as long as I can remember. I attended my first San Diego Comic Con in 1990 and since then have been enraptured by movies. Ten years after that, I created Crackhorse Films; a small, independent production company dedicated to learning through experience and bringing people up through our ranks. So far we’ve created some cool diverse content for the internet, but the time has come to shoot for the big screen. Being a total sci-fi fiend, I knew that we had to create something that I and others like me would love to see. Frances Manzo and I co-wrote the script for ADAM 8, an epic story that follows a team of hardcore female space marines that are trying to save mankind by locating and freeing the descendants of a lost colony of humans that are enslaved by a brutal alien race. Strix Beltran, a PhD student specializing in myth and storytelling, headed our rewrites and really assisted in giving us a more complete world and cast of characters. We are extremely excited to have David Hardberger as our Director of Photography. If you've seen pretty much any science fiction film within the last forty years, you've probably seen his work; most notably the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, Bladerunner, Willow, Return of the Jedi and Star Trek the Motion Picture. We are looking forward to his honed eye and vision giving ADAM 8 some incredible visuals. Our team is also made up of an amazing cast, composer, multiple producers, stunt coordinator, and costume, prop and set designers. We are so close to really being able to move full speed ahead with pre-production, and we need your help! Buying one of our affordable (and really cool!) t-shirts will help us get the funding we need to pay artists for conceptual drawings, prop mock ups, costume designs, and storyboards. We all honestly think this film has the potential to be something amazing, and we hope that you can see that too. Thank you for your continued support. ~Sean Williams Crackhorse Films
