About this campaign

We are so excited to launch our FOURTH YEAR of A Heart for Thanksgiving! Through the years, our little community has banded together to provide Thanksgiving dinner to families with babies and children in the Cardiovascular ICU and step down unit at TCH. We aim to make the hospital feel more like home and bring hope to these families as they fight for their babies lives. Please purchase a T-shirt or donate to join us in bringing Thanksgiving!

We joined the “Heart Family” at Texas Children’s Hospital four years ago. Our daughter was diagnosed with HLHS, and has had three open heart surgeries to date. As soon as we were discharged from the hospital the first time, we knew we wanted support this community. Receiving such a serious diagnosis and everything that comes along with it can be such an isolating experience. We want to bring hope and light into the darkness. A Heart for Thanksgiving has become a monument for our family and an opportunity for us all to give thanks for the miracles we have been given.
