Taylor Strong Fundraiser

Taylor has been through many medical challenges throughout these last several months. It all started in May of 2017, when she suffered a broken leg during a soccer match in Clear Lake. That injury required surgery to set the break, and she recovered fairly well in order to get back for her junior season of basketball. With that being said, she tried to compete in basketball and soccer, but it was too painful in her knee. A hardware removal surgery was scheduled for May 23rd, 2018, and that surgery did not go as planned at all. She was in need of another surgery, but even more complications happened. Days later after that surgery, Taylor went into septic shock. She was transported immediately to Iowa City and was in need of an emergency surgery. Since then, she has ended up spending a total of 82 days in the Steadfast Children's Hospital in Iowa City. She has had 13 knee surgeries, 3 PICC line surgeries, plenty of blood transfusions, and 5 hospital admissions. Her journey still isn't over.. In fact, her last surgery was on November 21st, because her infection had spiraled back and infected her joint and blood again. Taylor has strengthened her relationship with God throughout her journey, and has leaned against His fatherly for strength. She would love your guy's help, and as always, #TaylorStrong!
