Hope for Harper's Heart

Harper had been showing some symptoms none of her doctors could explain, so her cardiologist ordered a CT and bronchoscopy that showed us there were some major problems. Her airway to her left lung is only about 40% of the size it should be which is causing the lower lobe of her left lung to be collapsed. We also discovered that her descending aorta was being compressed. The only option to fix this is a surgery that has only been performed 6 times, luckily with very positive results. However none of those cases have had previous work on their aorta like Harper has had. We have always been told that Harper is a unique case, but now this will be a truly one of a kind surgery. Please keep her in your prayers. Unfortunately due to COVID the only people allowed at the hospital are me and Eric, which can add some extra stress of not having support.
