The Live Like Roo Foundation
We are a donation-based, 501C3 charitable organization who provides support and financial assistance to families whose pet faces a cancer diagnosis.
Through grants, care packages, special experiences and genuine human support and kindness, The Live Like Roo Foundation has been able to assist over 8200 pets and their families through cancer diagnoses. #LiveLikeRoo.
As most of you know, we lost our Bane to Osteosarcoma (AKA bone cancer) in the beginning of May. Bane was only 7 years old, and for his 8th birthday coming up in June I wanted to raise money in his name to donate to an organization we had applied to for assistance with cancer treatment costs. We were told it would be over $10k with amputation and chemo costs but we ran out of time to even wait for help. Bane was in too much pain and we made the impossible decision to let him go.
