Our mission at Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC) is to empower those affected by breast cancer with personalized support and compassion. Our vision is a future where no one faces breast cancer alone. BCRC is a non-profit organization that has been providing personalized support and compassion to Central Texans affected by breast cancer since 1995. In partnership with our community, we strive to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone. We offer patient-centered care from diagnosis to survivorship through our three pillars of support: Guidance, Education, and Peer Support Groups. Our certified patient navigators are all breast cancer survivors who help our clients become informed and empowered in their healthcare. All our programs and services are free of charge for our clients and their loved ones. Our services for those with breast cancer and metastatic breast cancer have grown over the years. We also focus on reaching out and educating young people under 45 as well as those from diverse backgrounds. We use technology to enhance our outreach, education, and community connection. We offer digital resources and a bilingual helpline for our 5-county service area. Our Certified Patient Navigators can work with clients in English and Spanish and provide them with translated materials. Doing all this while continuing to serve and assist more than 2,000 breast cancer patients, caregivers, and family members in need of guidance and education each year is possible because of YOU.
