I work hard on a daily basis to help as many animals in OUR community that I can! I travel door to door, talking to people about their pets. try to educate them about basic, proper care. My family has made sacrifices in order for me to keep doing the work I do. My husband has invested some of his hard earned money into the care of rescue unwanted pets. Money that he earns to take care of our family.
I have taken out credit cards which are now maxed out from fuel expenses, medical costs and supplies for these animals. I have taken in 10 new unwanted pets in the past week alone!! 5 dogs & 5 kittens, all of which are sick and need on going care!! All need to be tested, vaccinated, flea treated and Spay/Neutered. They all need to be fed, to have access to clean litter/living conditions and exercise.
We need to raise the funds!! There is just no way that I can take in more animals, no matter how much room I have if there is no money to care for them until they find FOREVER HOMES. They are not my pets to keep they are just mine to protect until someone is ready to love them! Do you know how much time I spend taking care of other peoples unwanted pets each day? I have to scoop 10 litter pans, wash and refill 20+ Food Dishes, 20+ water bowls, I wash at least 2 loads of pet blankets every single day! Cats need to be played with, pet and stimulated daily and the dogs need to get fresh air an exercise a minimum of 3 times a day for at least 30 minutes. On top of all that there is the daily upkeep of my home, care and attention to the children's needs, answering all the phone calls & emails for help, managing the facebook page etc. I have very little time for friends or being social. I get less than 5 hours of sleep a night (if I am lucky) I say I squeeze 36 hours worth of work into a 24 hour day but I LOVE WHAT I DO!! I am just asking for your help...
