About this campaign
This definitely wasn't the summer we had planned at Camp Tapawingo. We expected to see all of your faces as you drove through our gates and joined us at our Place of Joy. We've made the incredibly hard decision to not open camp this summer. Oh, how we miss you! More than words could ever express.
Until we can see you, feed you, and provide you with A Place of Joy, we are using these shirts as a way to maintain the community that has been built over so many years.
A portion of the funds go back to Camp Tapawingo. We're spending our summer fixing, updating, painting, and preparing to welcome YOU back.

To say that Camp Tapawingo is a place of joy doesn't fully capture how special of a place it is. Many of my biggest laughs, my best moments with close friends and the times that I have felt most loved have been there.

I’m almost 50 and I still think of Tapawingo as my happy place. I spent my teen years as a camper, counselor, and even spent a summer working in the kitchen. My biggest disappointment is that, living in Texas, I wasn’t able to send my kids.
I sure have missed Camp this year!! I look forward to joining you next year as a Camp Nurse! It is an amazing warm peaceful place for everyone to have fun and learn in the process!
