About this campaign

We have had to cancel the Harvest Moon Event in 2020, but you can still help Arizona High School Students pursue their culinary dreams.

In spite of or perhaps because of the COVID Pandemic, C-CAP Arizona has a record number of 52 Arizona High Schools signed up for the C-CAP Educational program.

Visiting 52 High Schools spread across Arizona can be a challenge, and to deliver it virtually adds to that challenge. The students have had to cut back so many high school experiences. We want to help them not to lose their culinary passion but to continue to grow their culinary passion.

At the start of the school year, a record of 52 high Schools from across Arizona signed up for C-CAP assistance. Visiting 52 High Schools spread across Arizona can be a challenge, and to deliver it virtually adds to that challenge. The students have had to cut back so many high school experiences already. We want to help them not to lose their culinary passion but to continue to grow their culinary passion Our future culinarians (High School Students) are struggling to stay engaged online. They report that learning can be tedious and sometimes hard to keep up. So many just drop out. Staffing is a challenge for restaurants. We had one restaurant owner tells us he is struggling to find dishwashers and line cooks. C-CAP continues to create entry-level workers so that when restaurants are ready to hire, we have students ready to go. The C-CAP program provides a holistic and integrated approach to employment for youth and young adults through job training and life skills, internships and work opportunities, industry mentoring and connections, college and career advising, and scholarships, along with product and equipment donations to partner high schools across the state.
