About this campaign
The Central New York SPCA has been helping abused and neglected animals for over 127 years! It was founded in 1891 for the purpose of preventing abuse to draft animals pulling barges on the Erie Canal. This makes CNYSPCA one of the first animal shelters originally founded to help the ethical treatment of animals! It has grown over the years to provide protection for and to prevent cruelty to all animals.
The CNYSPCA provides many services for the animals in our area, including adoption, education, spay/neuter programs, and investigation into animal cruelty. We provide shelter, care and medical attention for stray, unwanted and abused animals, with strong emphasis on placing these animals in loving, responsible homes. No animal is euthanized for the sole purpose of making room for more. With active education and cruelty investigation programs, it is the mission of the CNYSPCA to make their community a kinder place for all animals!

I've adopted a cat and rabbit from you and would adopt more if i could. I'm all for the animal.
I will continue to support my local animal shelter as much as I can!! Every community needs to come get together to raise funds and end the overavundance of homeless pets as well as end puppy mills and breeding for money.
I'm a long time volunteer and love working with the shelter to help them find furever homes for the animals.
