About this campaign

Supporting Family and Consumer Sciences and CSU’s interdisciplinary post-secondary FCCLA organization means investing in future educators, leaders, and professionals who strengthen individuals, families, workplaces, and communities through practical skills, leadership, advocacy, and service.
Help the organization address societal challenges such as:
• Food insecurity
• Financial instability
• Mental wellness
• Child development and education
• Consumer literacy
• Healthy relationships
• Workforce readiness

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) specifically emphasizes leadership and service tied to these issues. FCCLA develops leadership with real-world application through:
• Organizing service projects
• Advocating for policy issues
• Competing in professional events
• Leading teams
• Building professional networks
• Practicing communication and collaboration skills

An interdisciplinary post-secondary FCCLA chapter creates continuity and professional identity. Having a collegiate/post-secondary FCCLA organization at CSU helps bridge the gap between: High school leadership experiences, University preparation, and Professional careers.
