Courage the Rescue Pup for Detroit Pit Crew

Detroit Pit Crew works tirelessly to rescue the destitute dogs of Detroit, providing a second chance at life to the innocent animals impacted by homelessness, abuse, or neglect. When Courage was rescued, he had been severely injured - broken jaw, broken xygomatic process, two broken legs, and massive infection and swelling of the head leading to concerns that he would lose an eye - if he survived. Though unsure whether he would pull through, they lovingly named this sweet pup Courage and gave him the medical care he so desperately needed. Courage's spirit and will to survive, combined with the emergency medical care and tremendous love given by rescue and veterinary staff, allowed him to pull through - not only to survive but to thrive! Having captured the hearts of many with his story and journey to recovery, those who have grown to love him have affectionately dubbed themselves Team Courage. This fundraiser is our small way of paying it forward and supporting Detroit Pit Crew's work to rescue more dogs like Courage. Let's do this, Team Courage!!
