Help Tracy Access Life-Saving Medication

My mother, Tracy, was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer back in January of 2022. Her initial line of treatment was working very well up until recently when her oncology team found new spots on her liver, which means her cancer is spreading. Unfortunately (and frustratingly) her health insurance doesn't cover any specialty medications, including the one specifically identified as a promising treatment for the type of cancer mom has. We've spent hours researching options on how to get this medication, & have tried everything from petitioning the insurance company, contacting the attorney general's office, seeking assistance directly from the drug's manufacturer, writing a letter to the CEO of my dad's company who is providing their health insurance policy, and more... all to no avail. Mom's only option was to purchase a third-party insurance policy which would cover this life-saving medication, costing her $900 per month. My mother is no longer working full time as a result of her disease so I am seeking help on her behalf to ease some of the financial burden this whole situation has imposed on her. Anything helps & we appreciate any past, current, and future support!
