Don't Shock Me Fundraiser!
The Maddy Massabni Foundation for Toxic Shock Awareness was founded in
honor of Maddy Massabni, who died at the age of 19 from menstrual toxic
shock syndrome on March 30, 2017. We have made it our lives' work to
increase awareness of menstrual toxic shock syndrome (mTSS) through
education and legislative advocacy to save lives.
Madalyn "Maddy" Massabni (1998-2017) was given her angel wings on March 30th, 2017 following an unexpected battle with menstrual toxic shock syndrome. Since her passing, her mother Dawn and brother George have dedicated their lives to spreading awareness and creating impactful, legislative change around menstrual toxic shock awareness education in New Jersey through the Madalyn Massabni Foundation for Toxic Shock Awareness.
