About this campaign
Putting Women in Their Place is launching this fundraiser to help us reach more progressive women running for office in the South. For far too long, the South has been run by those who forget that women are half of the population, too. With your purchase, we will be able to work with more women running for office and amplify their campaign. It's time to #ElectMoreWomen!
Putting Women in Their Place was founded by feminist, filmmaker, Megan Park, in 2017. Since our conception, we have worked with over 100 candidates, in 14 states. And we won't stop until we see equal representation in all levels of government. #WeArePWITP

Because I’m an immigrant and a daughter of immigrants who has made America my home, and consider myself an American. I’d be appalled if someone told me “to go back to my country” as I have lived here since I was 3 years old and am now a doctor.
Change must happen in this country and it must happen very very soon. It is time for women to step up into 50% (at least) of the positions of power and it is time to disrupt the patriarchy and reclaim our government from fascists.
