Join us for the 2020 #erasekidcancer® virtual walk-a-thon to support the lifesaving research, treatments, technology and programs for young patients and their families at Cook Children’s in Fort Worth, Texas.

You can help raise awareness for our cause by posting a picture of yourself completing your 5-mile pledge on your social platforms and including #erasekidcancer and #EKC5miles. Don’t forget to challenge your friends and family members to get active and participate as well! Even with social distancing, we can still work together to help make childhood cancer disappear.

We organized this virtual walk-a-thon in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and to help honor young patients like Gabriel. At age 9, he completed an ultramarathon (52.6 miles) as part of our Miles in Motion program. During Gabriel’s recovery from acute myeloid leukemia at Cook Children’s, he became the new record holder for miles walked throughout the course of his care.

The funds we raise together during September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, will support life-saving research, treatments, tchology, and programs forth young patients and their families at Cook Children’s in Fort Worth, Texas.
