Fall 2019 Tshirt/Sweatshirt Fundraiser

Thank you so much for visiting our fundraising page for our fall t-shirt and sweatshirt fundraiser! Turtles Raising Pups is raising funds to sponsor a puppy through the Guide Dog Foundation and this fundraiser will go directly towards those efforts.

The Guide Dog Foundation is a certified and award-winning nonprofit that is dedicated to providing guide dogs free of charge to the blind and the vision impaired. GDF, as a nonprofit, relies heavily on donations and volunteered time and effort to raise and train the guide dogs. On average it costs $50,000 to raise a guide dog through the whole raising and training process. Sponsorship is one way that the Guide Dog Foundation helps raise funds, and sponsoring a puppy costs $6,000. This fundraiser is a big step towards our goal!

Our goal is to sell 200 t-shirts and sweatshirts to raise the funds we need to support GDF and sponsor a puppy. The raisers for the Turtles Raising Pups program submitted original designs to our fundraising coordinators and then voted for the winning design which is seen above. The design was approved by GDF prior to this fundraiser’s release.

IMPORTANT

SHIPPING INFORMATION: If you live in the National Capital Region, which includes MD, DC, and VA, and would like to pick up your shirt from a Turtles Raising Pups representative, please choose to have your shirt shipped to Scott Howarth at Maryland and our fundraising team will get you your shirt through an area training class when they come in. Shipping is free if you choose this option. When you order, please say you are from the National Capital Region.

If you are part of our Maryland/Towson puppy raising group, please note this in the comment section of your order. If you are a friend of someone in our program, please include their name in the comments along with the university they attend.

If you live outside the National Capital Region, please choose to have the item to be shipped to your address for a small fee ($4.99).
