Who are Daisy Babies? Daisy Babies are our children who have suffered from twin to twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), including TAPS, SIUGR and TRAP. They are our brave warriors, they are our daughters and they are our sons. We believe that they deserve to be recognized today and always. We will forever love them with all our heart.
"We are fighting for the day after the storm when the skies turn blue, and all of the babies will live and be healthy and thrive like daisies flourishing in a field" – Mary Slaman, Founder and President of The Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation The TTTS Foundation was established from a promise from Mary Slaman to her twin sons when they were born on December 7, 1989. While holding them in her arms, she promised Matthew and Steven that they would be known and remembered and that she would find the answers.
