About this campaign

U of C Lab School's Feminist Club would like to help out the protesters at Standing Rock fighting the installation of the Dakota Access Pipeline which would taint the water of those living there and disrupt their religious processes. The protesters face a long and fatally cold winter (temperatures dropping below -20°F) and are in desperate need of supplies. The proceeds will go to the Sacred Stone Camp. The protesters and people living there need specific supplies. With the donations we will buy Mylar emergency blankets, heavy duty tarps, preloaded gas cards, and lighters. We will ship the supplies to the camp as soon as we have enough money. Thank you so much and thank you for caring about the wellbeing of these protesters that are fighting for their homes and sacred lands!!

University of Chicago Laboratory School's Feminist Club was founded a 5-6 years ago. We discuss issues facing marginalized communities (not just women) during our meetings. We have bake sales and drives for the benefit of this communities. We have speakers, such as the CEO of the Illinois Planned Parenthood, and activities, such as movie nights, where the proceeds will go to charities. Thank you so much for buying a t-shirt. Please contact the club presidents with any questions or concerns at! -Pria Parsad, Asha Futterman and Zora Navarre.
