When people come to us, they are in one of the most difficult and vulnerable places imaginable. They have experienced sexual abuse and feel isolated from the rest of the world. Heroes of the Heart, inc is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and restoring hope to individuals that have experienced all forms of grief, such as sexual abuse, the death of a loved one, domestic violence, mental illness, and more! We provide them with a safe and supportive environment to share their grief with others and find ways to cope. For some, just leaving their home is difficult and takes all of their strength. Seeking new way of coping and restoring hope makes them brave! The power in what our organization does is shown through the connections and relationships group members create with each other and their facilitators/moderators. Also, the power is with YOU!
