Hope Concert

My motivation for this project comes from a young man I grew up with from Kindergarten to high school. He was in most of my classes. Getting the news my senior year that he had died by suicide was devastating. I wanted to do something then, but college and life in general sometimes change your path. As recent as last fall a young woman in my community also died by suicide. With that I knew that I must, we must do something now. I didn't want over 10 years to pass by before I took the time to do something. So during my process of grieving a loss of a dear woman from my community, the Hope Concert became clear to me. This is my way of igniting change and bringing you with me. Many of us have stories and I hope we can find ways to share our stories and be more open. May our friends and family not be forgotten and those of us left behind be uplifted. We are making great progress and more details are coming as we are in high gear now. Thank you for your support.
