Keep the Beat and rock the fight against congenital heart disease!

On April 18, 2012 my daughter Lux was born with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). She went into heart failure. Doctors cut open her tiny 3 week old chest, held her broken, walnut-sized heart in their hands and attempted to save her life. They came to us after hours of surgery only to say that they weren't sure if they could save her. It’s been 6 years and 2 surgeries later and my daughter is still here. She is still here and she is still alive and that is all because of The Children’s Heart Foundation.

Since 1996, The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF) has funded over $10.6 million to basic science, translational and clinical Congenital Heart Disease research. Today, more infants with CHD survive into adulthood because of this research. Lux is a survivor however many of her fellow warriors did not make it. I need your help to keep my daughter alive and to keep her friends from dying. We need you. We need funding. We need a cure.
