About this campaign

All proceeds will support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and ensure Heather’s caring legacy lives on. Thanks for your support.

We recently lost one of our own to suicide. This past Saturday I shared the link for the Kreider McCormick Classic on Facebook and Heather Buchanan "liked it". On Sunday my Facebook feed was covered with the horrible news that she had decided to take her own life. Her smile and compassion helped many of us in the past and I'd like to make sure her legacy is continued. It won't be much, but this site allows us to buy shirts (minimum of 20) and then donates all the proceeds to AFSP.   Hopefully it allows us to honor the caring nature of Heather Buchanan while giving us some memorabilia to help us to remember the good times that sure to be had at the 18th Annual Kreider McCormick Classic. Thanks for your support.

In honor of my daughter who died of suicide on June 1, 2014 and to support the AFSP's studies of the numerous factors that contribute to suicide risk including understanding the impact on those who have experienced suicide loss.
