About this campaign
Luke's Mended Heart is raising money for the Southeast Michigan Congenital Heart Walk 2016. We invite all of Luke's supporters to support our efforts in one of four ways:
1. Purchase a t-shirt, hooded sweatshirt, or baby onesie. Half of all proceeds of the shirts will be donated to our team.
2. Join our team and walk with us.
3. Donate directly to our Team Luke's Mended Heart SE MI Congenital Heart Walk page. (coming soon)
4. Share our Booster campaign and team page with friends and family.
Last year Team Luke's Mended Heart raised over $500 for CHD research and education and this year we hope to beat that amount.
Southeast Michigan Congenital Heart Walk Event Information

Time: Registration opens at 9:00 AM Walk kicks off at 10:30 AM

Luke was born in February 2015 with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart does not develop correctly. Through a series of three open heart surgeries, Luke's major blood vessels and heart will be reworked so that the right side of his heart will perform the function of both sides. So far, Luke has had two of the three life saving surgeries, and he will have his final surgery in the spring of 2017.
