About this campaign

on April 13, 2018, we lost our dear friend marik, to osteosarcoma. He was a good friend of mine and we all miss him dearly. Both him and I attended a camp called Camp Rising Sun in Colebrook Connecticut. And I want to raise money for this place just like I did earlier this year. CRS was Marik’s favorite place on Earty and I want to make sure CRS keeps doing what they’re doing now and continues to hold a special place in children’s hearts.

My name is Ali Bober and I’m currently a senior at E.O. Smith high school in Storrs, CT. Earlier this school year I created a fundraiser for my senior project honoring Marik and raising awareness for pediatric cancer and raised $2800 for camp rising sun. I want to continue to donate to this amazing place and honor marik in anyway I can. Since my last fundraiser was so successful, I would love to do it again!

Marik and his family shared his journey battling cancer. The good, the bad, the ugly. I wouldn't have even learned about Camp Rising Sun had it not been for them. Supporting CRS is such a blessing kids need.
